Jeric Medina was sent home via Deadlock

After Kedebon's elimination last week, another finalist from Team Martin has been eliminated. Together with the Daddy's Home, Jeric Medina battled for survival. Martin Nievera and Pilita Corrales voted out Daddy's Home in favor of Medina while Gary Valenciano and Charice voted out Jeric Medina in favor of Daddy's Home, thus ended into a deadlock. It was the viewer's vote that sent Jeric Medina home after getting the lowest number of votes. X Factor PH's final four has been determined and they are Allen and KZ from team Charice, Daddy's Home fro team Gary V. and Gab from team Martin.

Shelly Hipolito's battle for the big artista break has ended

Protege-Kapuso Match, that was the theme for last night's show. Shelly was paired to kapuso artist Rocco Nacino. After the result of combined text votes and judges' scores, Mentor Ricky Davao's protege Shelly Hipolito has ended her battle for the big Atrista break, thus 8 proteges were determined and will continue their journey for the big break.

Artista Academy names its First 4 finalists; 2 more slots remaining.

Last Saturday, September 22, 2012, after the presentation of short films JOYRIDE and THE MESSAGE during their theme "FEARLESS", it was announced that only 6 students will compete for each title Best Actor and Best Actress of Artista Academy. Among 8 remaining students, Top 4 students will be competing at the finals night of AA, they were Vin Abrenica, Sophie Albert, Akihiro Blanco and Chanel Morales. The rest of the students who has not been called (Malak So Shdifat, Mark Neumann, Shaira Mae and Benjo Leoncio ) will automatically be part of the Danger 4 and will face tonight's elimination, aside from facing tonight's elimination, they will be competing against the TROPANG KICK-OUT students for the 5th and 6th slot of AA's Honor Roll.

It's Mark Neumann, Malak So Shdifat, Benjo Leoncio and Shaira Mae VS. Tropang Kick-out's Marvelous Alejo, Stephanie Rowe, Nicole Estrada, Brent Manzano, Jon Orlando and Chris Leonardo will be competing for the 5th and 6th slot of AA's Honor roll. 6 Hopefuls were casted out from the 3 biggest Talent Search this year.

After last weeks performances, another contestants from different talent search has been eliminated


Kedebon Colim (X-factor Philippines (ABS-CBN) )

From Team Martin Nievera, Kedebon Colim was the 1st finalist to be casted out from Team Martin N., and the 7th x factor finalist to be eliminated after being in the bottom 2 together with Daddy's Home (from team Gary V.). Both finalists sang for their survival, but Kedebon was sent home after getting 3 votes from Ms. Pilita Corrales, Gary Valenciano and his mentor Martin Nievera, and that made Daddy's Home a part of the X factor Philippines' Top 5 together with KZ Tandingan, Gabriel Maturan, Allen Sta. Maria and Jeric Medina.


Alberto Bruno, Marvelous Alejo, Stephanie Rowe and Nicole Estrada (Artista Academy (TV5) )

After last saturday's live exam with the theme "Stand Out", these four AA scholars (Alberto Bruno, Marvelous Alejo, Stephanie Rowe and Nicole Estrada) didn't survive the multiple eliminations, thus, balancing the number of remaining scholars, four boys Mark Neumann, Akihiro Blanco, Vin Abrenica, Benjo Leoncio and four girls Sophie Albert, Chanel Morales, Malak So Shdifat and Shaira Mae Dela Cruz. But after last night's episode, a teaser for tonight's episode shows that there might be a callback or wild card round for the kicked out students to have a chance for another shot of making it to the academy. Well let's find out tonight.


UPDATE!!!!


As per last night's episode of Artista Academy (September 18, 2012), there will be no wildcard round for the kicked-out students, but those eliminated students, will be forming a group and will be called "TROPANG KICK OUTS" , almost the same as the starstruck avengers, but their role is to challenge the remaining scholars and proved to them that they are more deserving than the present competing scholars.


Arny Ross (Protege: The Battle for the Big Artista Break (GMA 7) )

Mentor Gina Alajar's portege turned into Mentor Phillip Salvador's Protege, Arny Ross was the 11th Protege to be eliminated from the show and the 1st Protege to be eliminated after the Top 10 proteges and the swapping of mentor-protege tandems were announced. Arny Ross has been eliminated after the results of the combined text votes and judges' score thus making her 1 of the bottom 5 with Bryan Benedict, Ruru Madrid, Shelly Hipolito and Japs de Luna. Thus naming the top 9 remaining proteges, Japs and Elle of Mentor Roderick Paulate, Shelly and Bryan of Mentor Ricky Davao, Zandra and Thea of Mentor Gina Alajar, Mikoy and Jeric of Mentor Jolina Magdangal and Ruru of Mentor Phillip Salvador.
